Rivers of Russia

The longest river in Russia is the Ob. The river is located in Western Siberia and its length is 3,650 km. The Yenisei River passes through Siberia and flows into the Kara Sea. Its length is 3487 km. The Lena River is 4294 km long and flows into the Laptev Sea. The Amur River is located in the Far East with a length of 2,824 km. The Amur River passes through the territory of Russia, Mongolia and China. The length of the Irtysh River is 4248 km.

The Volga River passes through the major cities of Russia: Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara and Volgograd. The length of the Volga is 3690 km. The length of the Lower Tunguska River is 2,989 km., Vilyui (2,650 km.), Kolyma (2,129 km.), Ural (2,422 km.), Don (1,870 km.), Khatanga (1,636 km.), in total there are more than 2.5 million rivers in Russia.
