Bratsk is a Siberian city on the Angara River in the Irkutsk region. It is the central city of Eastern Siberia, as it stands at the intersection of important transport routes. The city appeared in 1955 immediately after the construction of the hydroelectric power station began. The distance from Bratsk to Irkutsk by road is 618 km, to Krasnoyarsk - 690 km.
