Buzuluk is a city in the Orenburg region with a population of 86 thousand. Officially, it appeared on the map of Russia in 1736, but even during the period of the Moscow state in the 16th century, the name Buzuluk was well known.
Buzuluk is the name of the river, which is a tributary of Samara. Almost from its very foundation, the city became known as a major shopping center. There were constant fairs and celebrations. In the Soviet years, Buzuluk also became famous when an oil field was discovered there.
