Dimitrovgrad is a city in the Ulyanovsk region, the first mention of which appeared back in 1626. Previously, distilleries operated on the territory of the city, but today it is just a cultural and rapidly developing center of the region. The city is located at the place where the Bolshoy Cheremshan River flows into the Kuibyshev reservoir.
