Pskov is a Russian city standing on the Velikaya River and having the title of military glory, the capital of the Pskov region. Its population is only 200 thousand people, but nevertheless it is one of the oldest cities in the state. It was first mentioned back in 903.

It is believed that the city was formed because of an important event in the principality - the marriage of the Prince of Kievan Rus to Princess Olga. But according to historical facts, primitive people lived on the territory of Pskov long before the Middle Ages.
