Stavropol or garden city is an amazingly beautiful city in the Caucasus, which was founded as a fortpost in the 18th century, but after 100 years of its existence it grew into a trading city with the honorary title of the gates of the Caucasus. Stavropol is the capital of the Stavropol Territory of Russia.
