Ulan-Ude is the capital of Buryatia, it is a city with a specific flavor, it is located at the foot of beautiful mountains and is divided into two regions by the Uda River, which is a tributary of the Selenga. Previously, the city was called Udinsk, then Verkhneudinsk, since 1934 Ulan-Ude, which means Krasnaya Uda.
