Vladikavkaz is a settlement in one of the regions of the North Caucasus, which is located on both banks of the Terek River. The capital of the Republic of North Ossetia is Alania. Today it is a major engineering center in Russia. Since 2007, it has also held the title of the city of military glory. Previously, the city was called Dzaujikau, from 1954 to 1990 - Ordzhonikidze.
