Vsevolozhsk is a Russian city located near St. Petersburg, in the Leningrad region, a few kilometers from the northern capital.

The history of Vsevolozhsk

The city was officially founded in 1892, when the first Ryabovo railway station was built on the land of P.A. Vsevolozhsky. In 1895, the second Vsevolozhskaya station was opened. The village was named Vsevolozhsky, which became a city in 1963.

Despite the fact that there are many large industrial enterprises in the city, it is one of the greenest cities in Russia, known for its green parks, squares, as well as the cleanest environment and air.
